Timing and Field Of View (FOV)

Bolus tracking on aortic arch:

Arterial chest (8s delay)

Then further 35s delay PV abdomen pelvis

FOV - Lung Apices - Lesser Trochanters

Suggested Multiplanar Reconstructions

  • Axial 3mm
  • Coronal 3mm soft tissue
  • Axial 1mm lung

Adaptations

CAP + Oral Contrast - T4 Colorectal cancer post-op surveillance

  1. Oral 1000ml 3% contrast over 60mins
  2. Weight based contrast @ 3ml/s

Timings and FOV + MPR suggestions remain the same

CAP - NO IV -Patients with IV contrast allergy

  1. 1000ml 3% contrast over 60mins

Non-contrast (NC) Chest, Abdomen & Pelvis

FOV + MPR suggestions remain the same

CAP- NO IV + NO ORAL -Patients who do not require, are allergic or contraindicated to contrast

Non contrast Chest, Abdomen & Pelvis

FOV + MPR suggestions remain the same
